Description
Indirect searches for dark matter using neutrinos have resulted in some of the strongest bounds on the scattering of dark matter with ordinary matter, dark matter lifetime and self-annihilation cross section. This success was made possible through a mix of new analysis methods, detection channels, and the rich dataset collected by experiments like IceCube and Super-Kamiokande. The status of present searches will be reviewed and the potential for discoveries at next generation detectors, foremost PINGU and Hyper-K, will be discussed.
