Description
In this talk the POWHEG method for matching of NLO corrections with a parton shower is reviewed. In particular, I discuss how to include electroweak corrections within the POWHEG framework. As an application, I focus on Drell-Yan production of W and Z bosons at the LHC, highlighting an improved treatment of the vector-boson resonances within the POWHEG method.
