Einweihung des neuen MPI für Physik / Inauguration of the new MPI for Physics

Das Max-Planck-Institut für Physik (MPP) hat eine neue Adresse. Unser neues Gebäude befindet sich am Forschungszentrum Garching in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft von drei MPIs, die alle aus dem MPP ausgegründet wurden: den MPIs für Astro-, Plasma- und extraterrestrische Physik. Am 27. und 28. Juni 2024 laden wir zur Einweihung unseres neuen Domizils ein. Am 27. Juni, 14.00 Uhr, findet der offizielle Festakt statt, am 28. Juni folgt ein wissenschaftliches Symposium zu aktuellen Themen der Teilchenphysik.

The Max Planck Institute for Physics (MPP) has a new address. Our new building is located at the Garching Research Center in the immediate vicinity of three MPIs that were all spun off from the MPP: the MPIs for Astrophysics, Plasma Physics and Extraterrestrial Physics. On June 27 and 28, 2024, we invite you to the inauguration of our new domicile. The official ceremony will take place on June 27 at 2 p.m., followed by a scientific symposium on current topics in particle physics on June 28.
