Description

The understanding of asymptotic and composite states is essential for predicting detailed final states in high energy collisions. This applies, in principle and for novel approaches, to hadronization and is an ubiquitous concept to worry about for electroweak final states. I will demonstrate how one can define composite, gauge invariant external states for the electroweak interactions, and what the resulting structures for a perturbative calculation are. I will also give an outlook how similar concepts shape the structure of colour evolution equations in QCD, and how this would generalize for the construction of electroweak evolution.
