DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Ian Moult\nThe study of the substructure of jets at
the LHC provides unique opportunities to study QCD and search for physics
beyond the SM. In this talk I will discuss recent progress in improving o
ur understanding of jet substructure using a particular observable called
the energy correlators. I will highlight the remarkable theoretical and e
xperimental properties of these observables and argue that this makes them
ideally suited for bridging formal theoretical progress and practical je
t substructure measurements. I will then describe progress in understandi
ng the energy correlators in a number of different directions\, including
higher perturbative orders\, higher point correlators\, the incorporation
of tracking information for experiments\, and the structure of spin correl
ations in the OPE limit. I will also present recent measurements of these
observables at the LHC\, which highlight the near conformal dynamics of Q

SUMMARY:Factorization at Subleading Power and Endpoint Divergences in Soft
-Collinear Effective Theory

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Matthias Neubert\nWe derive the first renormalized f
actorization theorem for a process described at subleading power in soft-c
ollinear effective theory. Endpoint divergences in convolution integrals\,
which arise generically beyond leading power\, are regularized and remove
d by systematically rearranging the factorization formula. We study in det
ail the example of the $b$-quark induced $h\\to\\gamma\\gamma$ decay of th
e Higgs boson\, for which we derive the evolution equations for all quanti
ties in the factorization theorem and resum large logarithms of the ratio
$M_h/m_b$ at next-to-leading logarithmic order.\nhttps://indico.mpp.mpg.de
