In this talk I'll discuss some of the various computer algebra tricks I've employed in my work related to particle physics. The goal of this talk is to demonstrate that computer algebra can be used to solve nontrivial examples if the approach is tailored in the correct way. We'll discuss how to compute linear and polynomial relations between canonical forms and faster saturation for solving Landau equations. If time permits, I'll also discuss a few tricks for computing large discriminants.
