The 4th Workshop on "High Precision for Hard Processes at the LHC" (HP2) 

will be held from 
September 4 (Tuesday) to September 7, 2012 at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich.


This is the fourth workshop of this series, which is devoted to high-precision studies 
of hard-scattering processes at hadron colliders. 
The main themes of these workshops are recent developments and new results on 
theory and phenomenology of hard-scattering processes within the Standard Model and its extensions.

Topics covered at HP2.4 include

* Phenomenological results on hard-scattering cross sections at high perturbative orders
* Automated methods to compute multi-leg  amplitudes at tree and loop level
* Matching Monte Carlo event generators with fixed order calculations
* Status reports and implications of current LHC and Tevatron results
* Radiative corrections in Beyond the Standard Model physics phenomenology

and other related subjects.

Participation:
Owing to the restricted space availability, attendance will be limited to about 70 participants. 
We especially encourage young researches to present their work at HP2, so please forward 
this message to your collaborators.
The participants are expected to obtain their own financial support for travel and accommodation.
A conference fee of 50 Euros includes lunches and a conference dinner.

A limited number of rooms is also available in the MPI guesthouse.

* from the airport, it is convenient to take the Lufthansa Bus to Munich North (Nordfriedhof)

From Studentenstadt it is a 5mins walk (continue city-outwards towards a big crossroads, turn right there,

there change to U6 towards Forschungszentrum Garching and get off at "Studentenstadt".
