The 4th Workshop on "High Precision for Hard Processes at the LHC" (HP2) 

will be held from 
September 4  to September 7, 2012 at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich.

The workshop will start Tuesday morning and end Friday 14:00.

The conference dinner will take place on Thursday, Sep 6.

The conference fee of 50 Euros (includes the conference dinner) should be paid in cash 
upon arrival.

The talks are of 30mins length, including about 5 mins discussion time.


Please arrange yourself for accommodation. The  website contains links to some hotels nearby. 
Please note that some of the hotels can keep their special rate only until a certain deadline, 
and that the conference is close to the Octoberfest, so we recommend early booking.
A very limited number of rooms is also available in the MPI guesthouse.

Travel: 

* from the airport, it is convenient to take the Lufthansa Bus to Munich North (Nordfriedhof)

From there take the underground U6 towards Garching and get off at "Studentenstadt" (2 stops).  
From Studentenstadt it is a 5mins walk (continue city-outwards towards a big crossroads, 
turn right there, then you will see the Institute).    

* from the Munich main train station: take any subway line going to Marienplatz (2 stops), 
there change to U6 towards Forschungszentrum Garching and get off at "Studentenstadt".
From Studentenstadt it is a 5mins walk (see above).
