Gravity solutions dual to theories with dynamical flavors can extend our knowledge of the physics of the Quark-Gluon Plasma. I will present one such class of solutions and discuss some of its properties. In particular, I will compute the leading flavor contribution to the first and second order hydrodynamic coefficients. I will finally mention some recent developments of this approach.
