The Vcb puzzle

The exclusive and inclusive determinations of the CKM element |V_cb| have been in disagreement for a long time, which hampers significantly
new physics searches in the flavour sector. After a general introduction to the problem, I will discuss recent efforts to improve the accuracy
of both inclusive and exclusive determinations. They involve perturbative calculations, lattice QCD simulations, and of course new measurements at Belle II and LHCb.
