We study the light quark effect on the Higgs boson production in association with a jet for the intermediate transverse momentum region between the quark and the Higgs boson mass scales. A new factorization formula is derived and the differential cross section of the process is computed in the leading logarithmic approximation. We observe a remarkable property of the jet decoupling from the light quark loop. The results are used for an estimate of the high order corrections to the top-bottom interference in the Higgs plus jet production at the LHC.
