Description

We have plenty of evidence that Dark Matter should exist, and a plethora of possibilities to study what it may consist of. In this talk we explore the idea that Dark Matter may be rather light-weight, but extremely weakly coupled: The axion being a prime example of this idea. We present novel, competitive searches for such well-motivated particles that were enabled through opportunistic use of existing infrastructure and detail on the strategy needed to extend these searches to their full discovery potential.
