1 ALARIC - a NLL accurate Parton Shower algorithm

In this talk I will introduce the ALARIC Parton Shower. After a short summary of basic concepts behind Parton Shower algorithms and criteria for NLL accuracy, I will delve into the various design choices behind ALARIC. After discussing our proof of NLL accuracy, I will show numerical tests as well as comparison to LEP data. Finally, I will give an overview over more recent developments.
