The meeting has the purpose to discuss some of the developments of string theory related to particle physics and cosmology, and in particular to celebrate the scientific life and the excellent contributions of Ralph Blumenhagen within these fields. 

 

Participation to this meeting is by invitation.

How to get to the MPI for Physics:

From the Munich city center take the U6 subway line to reach the Max Planck Institute for Physics. Get off at the station "Garching Forschungszentrum"; choose the exit at the back in the direction of travel. When you reach the surface, keep straight ahead and cross the small road. You will reach the entrance to our building after about 150 meters. 

Travel time from Munich, e.g. Marienplatz: 25 minutes
