Description
After  reviewing the present status of Higgs boson searches at the LHC, I will  focus on the fermiophobic Higgs boson scenario, where the Higgs couplings to fermions vanish at tree level. This scenario would have a deep impact on Higgs searches  at the LHC, drastically affecting the present Higgs mass bounds. On the other hand, one-loop corrections will in general affect the tree-level predictions by generating radiative fermionic (Yukawa) couplings. Effective Higgs Yukawa couplings are studied  in a general theoretical framework, describing a large class of fermiophobic Higgs-boson scenarios. Their impact  on  fermiophobic Higgs searches at the LHC is discussed. The advantages of a subsequent  linear collider program for testing the fermionic radiative sector are  also shown.
