Description
Weakly interacting particles at very low masses (such as Axion-like particles) appear in manifold extensions of the Standard Model and have been evoked in the explanation of astrophysical puzzles. After explaining the motivation for theses searches report on different setups in Hamburg that experimentally look for such particles through their coupling to photons. In particular I report on the plans and status (http://arxiv.org/abs/1309.3965) of the light-shining-through-a wall setup ALPS-II and the status and preliminary results of efforts to look for WISP Dark Matter at DESY (http://arxiv.org/abs/1309.4170, http://arxiv.org/abs/1311.5341).
