The mass scale of fundamental strings can be as low as few
TeV/c^2 provided that spacetime extends into large extra dimensions.
I will discuss the masses, spins, production and decay rates of Regge resonances, and some other phenomenological aspects of low mass string theory relevant to the searches for physics beyond the standard model at the LHC. I will stress the importance of single photon production via gluon fusion gg-->g gamma and of dijet production as very efficient probes of these resonances.
