Description
The interpretation of experimental signatures at the LHC requires precise theoretical predictions for signal and background processes. Detecting new physics phenomena, like supersymmetry, in general relies on the analysis of complex multi-particle signatures that have to be extracted from a large background of SM and other new physics processes. In this talk we discuss recent progress in precision calculations for SM and BSM processes at the LHC and how they can be employed to test new physics models.
