Description
At the LHC, many interesting processes involve three or more particles in the final state, both in the search for new (mostly unstable) particles and in the corresponding background reactions. A thorough description of such processes requires the evaluation of strong and to some extent also of electroweak radiative corrections at next-to-leading order - a task that is both conceptually and technically challenging. In this talk some problematic issues, together with their solutions, are discussed, and results on specific particle reactions are presented. The latter, in particular, include strong and electroweak corrections to Higgs production via weak-boson fusion as well as QCD corrections to the important background processes pp -> t tbar b bbar.
