The discovery of the Higgs boson has validated our understanding of Standard Model interactions, and completed the Standard Model particle content. Nevertheless, a lot of questions remain: is the observed Higgs boson the particle predicted in the Standard Model? What is the form of the Higgs potential? Why is the Higgs boson so light? What generates the patterns in fermion properties? After a quick review of what has been learned so far, prospects for Higgs boson measurements at HL-LHC will be reviewed, and new approaches to search for Beyond-the-Standard Model physics will be discussed.
