Description
Leptogenesis, as an attractive and popular Baryogenesis variety to explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the universe, and hence our physical existence, is assumed to have happened at high temperatures and densities. Since the dynamics have traditionally been calculated using vacuum field theory, the question arises how the inclusion of finite temperature field theory will affect the final result. I will give an introduction to this complex question on the basis of equilibrium field theory and classical Boltzmann equations and present some results of my work.
