The goal of the workshop is to bring together the world experts working in the field of F-theory, a geometric non-perturbative version of string theory.
At the conference, the topics to be discussed include:
- Phenomenological aspects of F-theory particle physics, including Grand Unification, proton decay, selection rules, Yukawa textures
- Supersymmetry breaking and soft terms in F-theory
- Inflationary models and moduli stabilization in F-theory
- Derivation and classification of effective theories arising in F-theory
- Dualities to other string theories
- New mathematical advances including geometrical aspects of elliptic fibrations, the Mori program for higher-dimensional spaces, enumeration geometry for Calabi-Yau fourfolds, mixed Hodge structures, and Hitchin systems
