This is an introductory course to FPGA programming, targetting physics students from the Bachelor and Master programs at TUM.

The course will cover:

  • Basics of digital electronics
  • Basics of boolean algebra
  • Introduction to FPGA devices
  • Introduction to VHDL programming
  • Working with Xilinx FPGAs

 

The course will also include practical examples, that will be run on Xilinx learning boards.
