On Wednesday, the 13th of March, we will have an excursion to Athol Island—snorkeling, a private beach, porcine, and practically unlimited Bahamian rum punch. The boat will leave at 2:30 at Bamahas Jetboat.
- Bring (or wear!) bathing suit and take a towel to the conference. There is only one space at the docks to change, so we recommend to do that beforehand. (Snorkeling gear is supplied)
- We have arranged an extra boxed catered lunch after the last session at 12:45 pm. (I will chair the last session and will be strict on time.)
- The bus(es) will pick us up at 1:30 pm to bring us to the dock.
- For all the people with their own transport: we will meet at Bahamas Jetboat at 2:00 pm.
- You can pay on site with card, cash, and even Venmo. The amount will be 100,- for the tour, and 8 dollars extra if you make use of the bus from the university. (The tour is normally 150,-)
- There will be around 30 lockers at the Bahamas Jetboat office to store your valuables. Please share one with a colleague. We will be back around 5 pm.
