This workshop is the seventh in a series of annual meetings started in 2003. The workshop is intended to be fairly specialized, aiming at people with some familiarity with SCET. It is planned to have a limited number of invited talks with lots of time for discussion and interactions among the participants. As in previous years a wide range of topics within SCET shall be covered including conceptual issues and established as well as novel applications in QCD or other sectors of the Standard Model.

The workshop takes place at Ringberg Castle, which is a conference site of the Max-Planck Society located close to Tegernsee, Bavaria, and provides a unique workshop atmosphere through its special remote location, ancient architecture and good food. Apart from the workshop sessions Ringberg Castle provides many opportunities for chatting, get-togethers and smaller discussion sessions in separated rooms of which there are plenty in the castle.

Due to space restrictions on Ringberg Castle the registration is limited to 60 participants.
