We kindly ask you to make your own bookings. A list of hotels in Trieste can be found at the site of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia regional tourist office (http://www.turismofvg.it/Locality/Trieste), and also at the following hotel portals: Booking, Venere, Galahotels, Trivago.

To get you started, we add here below a list of three-star hotels very close to the central railway station, the bus terminal and the meeting location (within about 5 minutes walking distance), and a second list of hotels that are still within walking distance of the meeting place (10-15 minutes), but at more attractive locations, right at the city center (Piazza Unità, the Town Hall and surrounding area).
You might prefer other types of accommodation (residence, bed&breakfast, ...): the choice is fairly wide. With a direct contact, you might obtain a better price than through internet hotel-booking engines.
