Description
Albert Einstein was the original director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Society’s Institute for Physics, founded in October 1917, the predecessor of today‘s Max Planck Institute for Physics. It is time to celebrate this anniversary.
In our symposium we will review the historical developments in particle physics, focusing on the role of our institute, as well as review the most thrilling current research topics. The Max Planck Institute for Physics is excited to bring together renowned researchers in both theoretical and experimental particle physics to address these topics.
We cordially invite you to join our symposium and to celebrate our 100th anniversary with us! The symposium will take place from October 10-12, followed by the ceremony on the afternoon of October 12.
