The idea is to review how we arrive at the em scale for the various sub-calo\'s. What are the limitations, what has to be done in situ? We assume that the \'raw signal reconstruction\' as obtained from calibration (ramps and optimal filtering) is understood.
Discussion of topo-cluster reconstruction and cluster splitting, cluster classification and em tagging.
Review of the various algorithms for ATLAS and testbeams, validation with MC simulation.
Comparison of data with MC for HEC stand alone runs, FCAL H6 (2003), combined testbeam runs in H6 for EMEC/HEC (2002) and EMEC/HEC/FCAL (2004), TILE stand alone runs and combined testbeam runs in H8 (2004) EMB/TILE.
Review of status of default jet calibration and alternative calibration approaches.
Comparison of missing Et calculation from default jet calibration with other methods. Discussion of missing Et tails and tau calibration.
Discussion of refined jet calibration, refined missing Et calculation, refined tau calibration and different group weighting approaches. Status of feedback loop between hadronic calibration and jet/Etmis reconstruction.
The sequence of topics to be discussed is not quite finalized yet. The materials presently attached may not be the final versions. Also note that contributors have been invited to present their ideas rather than results!
